Yes you can make a buck when your listings are able to be seen.  Unfortunately it's a case of wait and see.  It's not a reliable platform to sell on anymore.

It doesn't help that eBay are now spamming with emails like the one I got earlier today, which was - in essence - "you looked at an item a few days ago, well, we found a listing that has some similar keywords, but is cheaper than the one you looked at - buy it now!"

Bugger off, eBay. I wasn't even looking for something to buy, I conducted a search to find one of my own items from where I was to get to it in as few steps as possible (I know their bots don't have insight into my intentions, but I did click on and view my own item  ).

I'd turn off their spam if it didn't mean I'd miss out on all promotional notifications. >_<
