Anyone else having problems with the automatic (3) free re-lists coming off the 100 free listings that started today? .
Seems to be some sort of glitch

I too have lost 45 of my 100 free listings due to Auto relists being taken out of the 100 free promotional listings.
Not Happy Ebay every day another problem somewhere in the system.

Hi folks, this is slightly off topic, but as you are all well versed in the 3 auto free re-lists system, maybe you can help with an issue I posted on another thread - copied below :-
Well maybe I am stupid after all
On hubby's ID we've only used the Auto 3 Free re-lists on single items & only ever had the occasional item that hasn't auto re-listed.
Now I've noticed tonight on my new ID (not this one) which had listings with multiple quantities they have ALL re-listed with qty 1. What tha ? Surely this isn't correct ?
If it is - what a nightmare - have to check remaining stock of each item & revise each listing - grrrrrrrrr
Any advice or comment would be greatly appreciated . . . . . . thanks in advance

I contacted CS today re the 100 Free Listings being used up by my 3 x relists that had not ended
I had to point out to them..as they were not aware... that if the already listed items, which were 3 x relists had ended, theywould have been in my Unsold Items!
I was told to email the item numbers to them so they could check this out??
I also advised the CSO to advise his Supervisor that this is heppening as there were a lot of complaints re this on the Discussion Boards.
He said he was not aware of this problem
Is it even worth spening more time adding each Item number for about 30 listings and sending to them???
I am so sick of their incompetence and the many technical issues they are have had that caused me my precious time
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Gee ebay techies are good at lying.
I was advised yesterday that they had over 1,000 people phone them on Friday and complain about this issue of the 3 Free Relists stealing from their 100 Free Listings and that they said they would look into it BUT it would take up to 2 weeks for them to figure it out and no under no circumstances would anyone get their free listings reinstated.
So ebay are essentially telling sellers to go take a flying leap and they as usual do not care about us small fish now they have the Superstores makeing them mega dollars tax free.

What I am finding quite interesting and absolutely absurd is that I have been selling on this ID for about 3 or 4 years now & did everything the ATO advised me to do & registered as a business, so I can't get the 3 free auto re-lists. Well times change, as does the information & advice depending on who you speak to, so I started a new ID to get the benefit of the auto re-lists & try & save some time ! Lol, what a joke ! But what I have noticed, it actually seems ebay are encouraging & favouring the non store sellers - I mean initially I had to jump through lots of hoops to get selling limits raised on the new ID & go to the Financial Ombudsman to have MY money released by Paypal, but apart from those issues, ebay have been throwing freebies & offers at me left right & centre.
It appears to me they only want the little hobby sellers & the big guys with no-one inbetween I cannot fathom their strategy & reasoning - it just doesn't make sense to me

I am very sympathetic to the frustration that this stuff up to the 100 free listings has created for all who wanted to gain maximum benefit from them - gggrrr ... another example of eBay failing to delivery.
However MB in relation to your comments about eBay's rationale for issuing more free listings to non-store owners than they do store holders I truly don't think that free listings are a tactic used to "favour" non-store owners.
I think it is far more likely a tactic to encourage more listings overall so as to reap more final value fees at the highest levels, and maybe serve to entice some to open stores so they get access to a higher quantity of listings, longer listing durations, the promotional benefits of a store and the lower FVF incentives JMHO.

Yeah, I can see your point cats - but when we were getting the free store listings I would have roughly 700 - 900 listings & of course sales were much better back then also - so they were getting plenty from me in FVFees etc
With sales rock bottom the last few months, I'm actually considering closing my store Just waiting to see how the new ID goes and will decide which way to go after a couple of months - that is assuming I haven't gone out backwards before then

How bizarre is all of this .... I have just come in to have a look at the Discussion Board and find the above comments.
I RANG THEM THIS MORNING AT ABOUT 9AM.. I was transferred to the promotions (or whatever) department .... He (Luigi) told me they were aware of the problem and were working on it at the present time, (and I BELIEVED HIM) ...... remembering that this was 7 HOURS AGO !!!
What great team work .... congratulations Customer Service on yet another stuff up ........ and yes, I've lost about 30 free listings 😞
