quick C&S question

this might sound a bit dumb

but, i gotta ask

i filled out my first item and discovered theres no area to fill out - send to - buyers details on the satchel

so im guessing after i pop it in a post box - at AP they'll know where to send it just from the product code?

btw crikey, i noticed in 'my ebay' that it does automatically get marked as sent

Wide tape should seal it well enough. If you can't get enough information here check at your post office.

Joz, if you don't have a printer, I would write down the barcode number and take it, with the buyers details and your satchel to AP in the morning and explain you didn't realise you needed a printer.

They should print it off for you.

That's one reason why I don't want to use C & S - the cost of ink plus you still need to go to the post office anyway.

deja, how do you seal that sleeve btw?

There's a thin plastic strip you pull off and then press down to seal. But I wouldn't worry about sealing it because you'll need to get the PO to print out the slip for you. They'll need to put the slip in there.

BTW, they can manually input the barcode number. Don't let them tell you they can't.

quick C&S question

Well, actually it's pretty cheap.

I have a big, business type printer which is expensive for ink, so I purchased a cheap printer ($10, eBay of course), and the ink is $16 (eBay again) for 10 cartridges. Cheap as chips and SO convenient.

No PO needed either. You print out the slip, pop it straight into any red post box (assuming your closest isn't at the post office).

Yes, click until you can see the actual slip. When you can, you'll see the barcode. You might need to magnify it, but there's an option there to do that.

am1, could you PM me the seller you bought your printer and ink cartridges from on ebay? & do they always have 'em in stock?

I have to get some sleep but Joz, if you get stuck, or can't figure it out, the easiest solution is to contact C&S, and explain the situation. They will refund your postage money back into your account, and then just post your item like normal at the PO tomorrow.

Good luck.
