i sold a large item in may 2011, although he paid for it he never picked it up, how long do i have to keep it

After that amount of time you have every right to dispose of it or resell it.
I would guess the price paid would cover the storage fees.

Different states have different laws regarding this so I suggest you enter "disposal of uncollected goods" into google and select the documentation relevant to your own state, then act accordingly.

k5 that option is only there if you have a current transaction with the member you are requesting details for.
It will not work on a 2yo transaction.

I would try contacting the buyer once again in any way, something could happened, maybe the buyer got sick or something that hindered him/her to pick them up and could not even make contact with you because of the situation. Try sending buyer, text, letter, email and if address is close to you (reason why she wants to it pick up). Just to avoid any hassle later on. Nobody wants to get into trouble. Do the right thing.
