think buyer is going to scam me

hi, hoping someone can help, buyer brought shorts for 270, buy now free postage, now sending messages wants to pay 250 outside ebay so i save fees, said no then kept harrasing me, 6 messages later all saing she wants them for 250, i said 260 and she wrote back " wow saving 10 dollars geez" sister then sent message saying she will pay for it with her paypal account,250 tho, i said no ,i will cancell list and you can buy under your name, then buyer came back with ok ill pay tomorrow, with some smart remarks put in, now i am worried she is going to scamm me, she has 1 feedback, with only 1 good feedback out of  4 people, it has been a total headache and i do not want to send anything to her,

If the payment is not received for the amount purchased within 4 days of sale ending then open a non payer dispute and if they still have not paid the amount owning 4 days late then close the dispute.

This will end the transaction, give the buyer a non payment strike and block them from being able to leave feedback.

To open the dispute 4 days from time and date of the sale to the right of the sold item is a drop down, from that drop down click on resolve a problem and follow the prompts to open the non payer dispute then 4 dyas later if they still have not paid close the dispute.

If you send a request to cancel then they can still leave feedback and they deserve the strike as they should not be buying for a price more than they are willing to pay.

Then add that buyer and the sister to your blocked bidder list (BBL) and then at the top of the messages there is a report message to ebay button, click on that and report them for trying to purchase away from ebay and harassment.

If they do pay then make sure you take photos of every part of the item and post with signature required postage for your protewction.

just wait 4 days for pymt for original listing they brought

then if they dont pay for the original listing they brought after 4 days

do a non paying bidder(they get 4 more days to pay)if they do pay send with insurance and signature on delivery

to cover yourself

if they dont pay ebay close case after 4 days you get fees back and just relist move on and block them

dont send any more emails to them or respond to any

they brought at that price their should be no negotiating after the purchase

If they have not paid 4 days after opening the dispute ebay do not close the case you as the seller have to do it by clicking on buyer has not paid close dispute.

thank -you everyone, i feel alot better now, i rang ebay and they said if so called sister pays, ( dont even know if it was her sister} someone could come back with they did not authorize to use their paypal and i will loose money and shorts, i was happy for her to pay into my account but in every email it is something different, eg, my bank account, threw her paypal, sisters paypal then her paypal, the price, OMG my head is spinning, lol, I had 4 people in 10 minutes wanting them and i end up with the nuff nuff, i will do as you said and not reply anymore, she has since sent another saying she will pay tomorrow now with her paypal, ahhhh, my gut feeling is just to suck up a bad feedback , cost alot less than her getting my shorts, then her claiming some sort of lie threw paypal and then get my money too, or i might put in no payment like you said and hope to hell she does not pay, i suppose i could even refund it if that happens, say they are damaged, her feedback is - did not pay  for 2 items and was a no show when a buyer went to collect some tickets, then left horrible feedback for the 3 of them when it was all her doing. thank you so much for your advice, very helpfull.

Just a quick note about your plan to cancel the listing and sell to her off eBay - this is against eBay policy in respect to BOTH of you. She bought at a price and then wouldn't,t pay that price, and you agreed to sell to her privately at a reduced price.

You have already been charged final value fees on the original sale, and the only ways to get those back is for her to agree to mutually cancel the transaction, or for you to proceed with an Unpaid Item Dispute on the original deal.

Either way, if eBay look, they are going to see that you have agreed to be part of a transaction that will be interpreted as fee evasion - ie you advertised an item on eBay, then proceeded with the sale "off books".

At this point, I think you are just best to proceed with the Unpaid Item process, get your fees refunded, block this buyer, and then realist.

You really can't expect much support from eBay if they interpret your actions as fee evasion.

O no sorry mix up, i said no to the outside ebay,told her im not interested in saving fees, she kept saying you will save 40 dollars, another lie and i just told her straight out no, not interested,but said she could pay into  my bank account if that is easier or COD, she started wearing me down with price so i said 260 thats it, its all in the messages, the guy on ebay already read them and has put in some sort of thing saying she has tried to go outside of ebay, not sure what happens with that now, hopefully she gets barred.

LOL, me again, i was  cancelling it so she cannot buy,  i told her i will relist and then if her so called sister wants to pay she can buy under her name and paypal name, so sorry there is no ebay wrong here, thank-you

OMG just wrote to a seller that left feedback on sisters site, he had to get police involved, said they are professional scammers, they buy numerouse things off same people, leave bad feedback and steal money and belongings, he said they have numerouse fake accounts, they did not leave him alone, krickey, what do i do, he said to ring him if i want so he can explain and give me advice, he had to get damm police involved,
