using the 'eBay' term in descriptions

Just got a message from eBay and need help to clarify something

I usually state ' I prefer Bank Deposit, please use your eBay username as the reference'

Does this new policy mean I can't state the term 'eBay' like that in the description anymore?

What was the message you got from eBay? Some people around here are good, but I don't think anyone is psychic

Do you mean the "Using eBay's intellectual property" link in the 'New Look" email? (http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/everyone-ebayipuse.html)

I think it's always been like that, but if you're concerned, you could out the word eBay and switched it for member, most people would understand what you're referring to.

Your would be covered under this section of the policy.

Allowed - Referring to eBay in a descriptive way on your website, in listings, or in advertisements. For example, you can say, "Check out my antique items on eBay" or "I sell on eBay."

Is this the  message - I received this in my Inbox - very exciting stuff - NOT!!!!  I'm wondering if we now change the spelling of eBay, which I hardly ever spell correctly anyway?

I know so little,  didn't know we had a Senior Vice President for  Asia Pacific 😮

Disappointed there doesn't appear to be a REPLY button 😞

Because of you

maybe all of us that actualy read it should be asking for a share of the profits, as it is stated clearly 'because of you' - they left a little bit of wording out that would encompass the entire membership

Well I'm not quite sure as totally confused. Also trying to work out what the approx amount my next invoice will be.

Looked up link for "Using eBay's intellectual property" and found this under "RESTRICTIONS"

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/everyone-ebayipuse.html

eBay is always spelled "eBay." It's never spelled "Ebay," "e-Bay," "ebay," or any other way.

Guess that will need to be changed whenever somebody notices it. :^O

Off to list a few things elsewhere right now!!!!

Instead of being "crooked" the new logo will now be "straight".

I wonder if this is symbolic of anything?
