I have had parcels scanned as Delivered when they have been left at the post office and a card left in my box.
I wish sellers would occasionally accept that not all buyers are out to scam them...don't automatically assume that a buyer is lying if the PO "scanning" says that an item is delivered but the buyer is saying they do not have it.

Not sure where you are coming from Lyndal ? The thread is about a sellers concerns that a buyer has not collected an item from the post office.
Based on your comments though I will note, as a seller I do very much accept when a item has been scanned as delivered it is not always the case that it has.
If a buyer ever advises me that an item hasn't arrived I always check the scanning, and advise of status, and if they indicate after that that the tracking is incorrect and they have not received an item I always follow up with opening an AP investigation, or occassionly if the value is so low it is not worth my time following up, then I would refund in full.

Exactly Cats....I am just pointing out the AP's tracking is not a reliable way of knowing the whereabouts of a package. In my case an item that was supposedly delivered was in fact not delivered at all.
In reverse, the buyer could well have collected the item from the post office and the tracking is still showing that it has not been picked up.
