what store should I have?

currently paying 49.95 for the store, have just on 1000 listings, should be going to 2500 shortly, do I have the correct store plan or should I be upgrading.

I asked this of an Ebay rep and got confusing answers as if they knew nothing.

I know my negs are currently killing my sales but I am trying to resolve the issues with them.

Also would love to have a more professional store but do not know how to do this.

Most of your items look like they're in categories that will have the normal FVF - you have a few media items, which will go down in FVF slightly no matter which store you have, but the majority will have either 8, 7 or 6%.

For insertion fees alone, and for the sake of ease, the following is based on the store packages from May 1st, and disregards your media items, and anything else that will attract the higher FVF.

Featured Store

1000 listings

$49.95 subscription fee

$160 insertion fee (1000 - 200 free = 800 x 20c)

Total $209.95 (+7% FVF)

2500 listings

$49.95 subscription fee

$460 insertion fee (2500 - 200 free = 2300 x 20c)

Total $509.95 (+7% FVF)

Anchored Store

Applies to 1000 or 2500 listings

$499.95 subscription fee

0 Insertion fees

Total $499.95 (+6% FVF)

Keep in mind new fee structures come into effect from 1st May and I believe it includes changes to stores.

You will be paying just under $700 in eBay fees with the sales you make right now in an anchored store. Compare that with what you pay now and that's your answer.

Ooops, sorry, I meant just under $800.

Why do they have the 7 right next to the 8 on my keyboard?

Holy, how did you get to be able to list 1000 items? eBay put a listing restriction on me as a new eBay store owner. First they let me list 40, then extra 20 for each calendar month, but I have to call them to request that each month. I want to be able to list 500 but it will take a few years by the look of it.

Here is my contribute 🙂

If you want to list 2500 then 20cx2300 = $460 - $500 +50=$10 plus the 1% difference in the FVF you will save with Anchor store .

If you will only havi 1000 like now, and your average monthly turnover is 50k, then you save 800x20c = $160 with Anchor store.

Looks like Anchor store will benefit you better whether you increase listings or not.

Average monthly turnover on that ID is nowhere near $50k, not even 10% of that - check stats 😉
