Hello to all ebay members,
I've been a long time ebay member for over 12 years and never realised how complicated when it comes to enquiring simple things. My enquiries are as follows;
1. A purchase of an item has been fully refunded by the Seller and received by Paypal and can be viewed on my Paypal account but the Money has not been returned to my bank account by Paypal , worse... My Wallet Balance on Paypal still shows US$0.00/AU$0.00 given an entry of the Refund appears on the statement !
An email has been sent to Paypal to which the response came; however, only to reiterate the procedure over how to Transfer from the balance of my Paypal account to my actual bank account !!!???
2. The ensuing saga continues with ebay constantly showing the existence over the fully refunded item as being an UNPAID ITEM !?!?
3. My last Purchase was a dash-cam about 3 weeks ago and the item was sent from Sydney's local warehouse but is FAULTY, Seller has been notified and initially showed serious attention to the problem which was fair and satisfactory, however; judging from the ping-pong email communication between us; I have come to a conclusion that the Seller is potentially trying to drag the matter over the limited time-period from the buyer's feedback entitlement !.
In 12 years it happened once to me.. I lost about $40 over a faulty item some years ago and too late to post a feedback as it was no longer listed (rules & policies were different then, but a bitter lesson I've professed not to let it happen again!)
As of the writing of this post, the communication is still on-going.
Would really love to hear a response or two especially from those with their fingers burned, what symptomatic signs that a Seller might do a runner on you & what would you have done differently if you could turn back the clock ?
What must I do to alert ebay over this kind of cheeky behaviour ?
To All honest ebay members like I am, Thanks a million for reading my ranting as I'm feeling so uneasy especially when ebay promises heaven on earth when it comes to buyers' protection but to get to ebay through its web of procedural complexities is itself another struggle for me.
I look forward to hearing from some of you, thank you.
Regards,
Ebay Member
