I was hoping that someone might have some idea what this item is. It is wooden and the lid goes on it to totally hide the ball/globe but we have no idea what it is? If you have something similar or know anything about it could you ket us know please. It is part of a deceased estate and we are trying to sort everything out but there are some items that we just have no idea about. Any assistance would be appreciated.
