Hello, when my E bay was installed my User ID and password would remain. I had a system update and now I have to put it in every time -why?

After an update to mu computer I can no longer get my USER i.d. and PASSWORD to stay fixed. I have to enter these details everytime. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.
