Any one else noticed that in the last 12 months lots of eBay vendors have started adding buyers email address to the vendor's bulk email list. At least I hadn't noticed it previously, but in the last months there have been several. Most annoying is that some of them do not include an "unsubscribe" option, and at least one that did have the option ignored it when used.
Now, in the short term I can just add the sender to my spam block list and ignore them, but: 1. why should I have to?
2. this doesn't stop the gradual snowball of future spam that follows when those mailing lists are sold on to other marketing operations.
So, before I go and set up a dedicated email address to use for eBay and send all incoming mail to trash, can any one suggest a better solution, 'cause that one isn't perfect by any means.
