Is the messaging system down? Can't contact seller.

When I try to contact a seller to request a tax invoice, I'm taken to this error page:

"Well, this is embarrassing.

We're sorry, but something went wrong on our side.

Please try again later."

I've tried repeatedly, and also logged out and back in again, and cleared cookies and cache in my browser. Can't seem to find anywhere to check the status or to contact ebay about site issues...

I found the customer service page but none of the options seem to be relevant to this situation.

Well, you can try live chat anyway (from the help page). Just select that you would like to talk to an agent. Judging from the message you get, there could really be a problem on their side though. Maybe it will work in a few hours or so.

Only a moderator can delete threads or questions. You can contact a moderator or report your own post with the comment that you have contacted eBay for an answer.
