Why do I keep getting notifications that I have logged in from locations around Brisbane when I am 1000 kilometres away in Mackay?
Todays classic at 6:00 has me logging in 1 hour into the future 1000 klms away.
If Mt Gravatt is on daylight saving time then it needs to show as AEDT not AEST which the rest of Queensland is on.
How can I have any confidence that it is really me.

I’m in Adelaide…sometimes they think I am in Darwin??
The 1000Km is most likely where your ISP is located, mine is in perth, so I often get that kind of notifcation from perth, but of course, I know I had just logged in so logic said it was me.
I get them whenever I clear my cookies 🙄
eBay works on NSW time; always has.
eBay also only recognises NSW time as AEST
I guess the same reason I get log in notifications from Facebook that I have logged in somewhere that is nowhere near where I am
Or one of many other sites
Or as explained on existing threads about the same thing
It is not an eBay thing
You can have confidence because you would surely know if you have logged in or not
And if in doubt, do what it says and change your password (NOT from any link though, from your eBay account)
