My payment for a purchase yesterday will not go through via Bankcard or Paypal

I have made several attempts to pay for an item selected by both Paypal and also bankcard .

Neither works as both reject me.

I  have checked all my input data and it is correct.

My online payments have been checked by making other payments to different recpients.

My payment system works to others.

Please advise.

Not sure how much other members can, really

Have you made sure the money has not in fact come out? (as in, that the first rejection was not an error in itself) ?

Have you contacted the seller and asked if they have an issue or their end?

Are you trying on this account you are posting with, or as a guest?

Have you done the usual (cleared cache etc etc)

Possibly the seller doesn't post to your address (PO box maybe?) or has you blocked for some reason.
