Travelling abroad

I have tried to use Ebay abroad and couldn't, so my friend let me advertise things on his.

Thought i had an up to date account but wasn't able to get in it because I must have changed the password while trying to get on in UK. Only found that Ebay has an old address on record when I pressed the request to buy something so I stopped it before it was completed. I keep getting emails from ebay which I have attempted to reply to and explain waht has happened, but have not had any reply. I have since managed to sort a password out and get into my account and change the address and am now trying to contact them through facebook. I cannot find a phone number for either ebay or the seller, to explain.

What can I do in this situation?
