Trying to send a message to a buyer

I am trying to send a message to the buyer of one of my items through the EBAY messaging and am getting the following message "Looks like something went wrong. Please try again later."  This has been happening for the last two days.  Any suggestions?

I find that there are regular glitches in the messaging system which are usually exclusive to just one of those three.
