Waiting Answer eBay Problem/Escalation

Hello - It is now 4 Days since eBay identified and escalated a System problem (Refused application of eBay Discount Code) for Lithium Batteries on this Item 334599347718.

The Seller now advises he has limited Stock of what I want to purchase.

eBay - since this is an eBay System problem that prevents me from Completing this Purchase... will you (eBay) "honour" the Discount Code for the Items (Lithium Batteries) I wish to purchase ?
Yes or No ?
I need an Answer ASAP.
Then I can advise the Seller.

Doubtful the t&c of the eBay discount code includes items from China

And buying Lithium batteries from a seller in China is begging for problems
