eBay alert emails all wrong text ?

Anyone else have this problem, I am getting all my new EBay item alert emails coming in as long gobbledygook text. All my other emails from different sources are fine. This is on my Ipad and its never been a problem before. I have checked my settings and all seem to be correct, and if there was something wrong in that department surely all my emails would be scrambled like it.
Its very confusing, anyone else have this problem ?
