how eBay allows people to be scammed on their page   supposedly i won set off

You did'nt win anything and if you gave your details you are in trouble

It has been posted about numerous times already

Warning after warning 

And it is not 'on eBay'

It is a third party ad that appears on many different sites

Nothing to do with eBay, Myer or anywhere else

Just because  scam is there does not mean click on it and give out your details

Stop supporting scammers

And if you gave any details to them, take action without delay

Change all your log in details

Cancel your card, notify your bank you gave your details to scammers

Get your computer properly scanned for Malware etc

There have been SO many posts/warnings etc NOT to click on these ads

was it a pop-up? If so, I don't see them as I have an adblocker

They are usually on the side on the page on websites for me (I have an ad blocker too) not a pop up. An envelope icon with something like 'free gift awaits you' all the same scam but different 'prizes' and 'stores' seen it on many different websites

It is on many sites. There are MORE than enough warnings about the 'survey' you don't have to click on it, you don't have to give them your details. Use some common sense No use telling other members, we know about it, have warned people about it. Did you indeed give over your credit card info to these scammers? and if so, what action have you taken since?
