how can i get temporary buying restriction lifted?

i have a new account and i cannot check out the items in my basket - i am told that i have temporary buying restrictions imposed. Can i get these lifted or do i need to go buy from Amazon or elsewhere? Its not like i dont have the money...

All new buyers will have buying limits imposed

You are more than welcome to buy from wherever you wish

eBay are unlikely to give special treatment by lifting the limits they put in place

It is not a site issue, it is the rules

Some sellers also place limits on how much buyers can buy from them at one time, regardless of how long they have had an account
