passkey **bleep**

I am so sick of that passkey **bleep** every time I sign into my account.

I know I hit a "never ask again" button about it before, but its still here.

It has even signed me out of my account several times after hitting the "skip for now" button.

I don't want a passkey, I am happy with my password that I have so why do they keep shoving it in face

every time. I just want it gone. What can I do?

Passkeys

Passkeys are an alternative to passwords that allow you to sign into your eBay account using biometric authentication such as a fingerprint, pattern, or PIN.This means you don’t need to enter your password, and it will help protect your eBay account against unauthorised access.

You can set up passkeys from the prompt after you sign in or from the Sign in and Security settings in your eBay account. You can also disable the passkey option in your Sign in and Security settings.

If your passkey fails, you'll receive an error message and be prompted to log in using your username and password.

the fingerprint isn't an option because I sell for other people and they still want to access their accounts. I don't know what the pattern thing is but the pin is just numbers and they are easier to get with hacking. Security always says a mix of letters and numbers are more secure. These are the reasons I don't want a passkey
