ISBN numbers

Yes.

That's how the dropshippers get their stock pics and generic publishing data.

Dunno if it's searchable though.

I know you can add the ISBN in the turbolister, but it doesnt bring up all the books and some will have the details but no photo of it

I wouldn't know.

I put the ISBN in, but I don't search for or include 'product details' in my listings. I include the publishing data (Publisher, Year, no of pp) in the description and use real pictures of the real books.

The 'product details' aren't always correct and the pictures are publishers' pics of new books, not the used ones I sell.

I doubt too many potential buyers would search by ISBN, unless they're after that particular edition of a book. One title can easily have 30+ ISBNs, depending on how long it has been or was in print.

It's like that with DVD's as well straybooks, You can enter the number and comes up with a DVD with different packaging

The Trinity ones with Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer are shockers, lost count how many times they have been repackaged over the years

I always use my own photo and use the description, but sometimes the odd description can also be wrong

Are they STILL around?

Real spaghetti westerns, those. More so than Clint Eastwood's ones.
