That's a very good q, Corny. And not an easy one to answer. I went looking for eBay Stores, but even that link isn't easy to find now.
Site map > More Ways to Find Items > Stores > Books, Magazines > See all Anchor Stores (link below Check Out These Stores!)
http://books.stores.shop.ebay.com.au/_sl.html?_an=1
Bookworld Australia has 2,427,653 matching items
books_music_superstore_oz has 2,008,378 matching items
etc, etc

Exactly what I was looking for,:-D

That's only Anchor Stores though Corny. Even though I regularly have over 1,000 items listed and have a store, obviously I'm not an Anchor Store so don't get to appear on that list.

A 1000,:O
I'm lucky if I can list two or three at the same time,:^O
Thanks, :-x
I was trying to work out volumes of big sellers compared to the rest.
It seems the "big sellers" aren't listing as many as they used too,:-D
If I remember correctly the "big five" had about 12 million between them in the early part of last year ,(when eBay had about 13 million book listings).
Now they only have about 8 million between them out of 13 million listings.
So it was interesting to see that the same amount of books seem to be listed but they are being listed by other sellers and not those top five,:-D
I would think that's a good thing,:-D

I think most smaller book sellers would know who the big ones are, from what I have heard and read, I wouldnt touch them at all. Most are UK based selling books they dont have or they advertise a book as in very good condition and it is the complete opposite

Several years ago, we were one of (if not the) biggest book seller on eBay in Australia, but how do you compete with the books coming from overseas with FREE postage.
It doesn't help the charities in this country as 100% of our books were bought from them.
Lifeline, Vinnies and Salvos are the big losers!!!!

they are already with their greedy pricing. I rarely go anymore it is invaribaly a waste of time

My Salvos does $1 books. All of them. They have probably 1000 and turn them over pretty often. At least the ones I buy normally weren't there the time before.
