Applying Coupons?

I apllied a coupon to an item I've just purchased.  In ebay it was reduced but paypal took the full amount. I've contacted the seller but how does that happen?

Apparently it was applied by ebay... but paypal made me pay the whole amount. Can someone tell me how to recitfy this

Have another look, because it will look as though full amount is deducted but you are only charged for the discounted amount from your PayPal balance or card.

The seller gets the full amount and eBay or PayPal (whom ever offered the voucher) puts in the voucher amount.
