There's something wrong with the website at the moment, but as always, eBay won't admit it. You'll probably have to wait for the AU staff to come back from their weekend for it to be fixed. Unlike the US website, we only get customer service during traditional business hours. Your best bet is to complain to them, and after enough complaints build up, they will eventually take you seriously. In the meantime, they will tell you there is nothing wrong with the website and that it's your fault somehow. If you look through today's forums, you'll see quite a few people with the same problem as you.

I was advised that the issue was that my POB address (whatever that is) was in conflict with my street address which was causing the error message.
I went into my account and made sure that all the addresses (dispatch, postal, main, etc) were the same and this fixed the issue and I have been able to post my item.
Hope this helps you.
Cheers, David

I am having the same issue when trying to create an item to sell. I receive the message 'It's not you, it's us. Server is down.

For those with a store and who use templates -
Duplicate a listing, edit it for the new one, save.
Doesn't work if you don't have a store as templates are not available. Luckily I create templates ahead of time for my listings.
