I notice a deposit in my bank account with amount of money more than asking. I don't know whether it's a scam buyer and how to deal with it.

maybe they were thrilled with their purchase? In the past I have paid much more than what I bid, due to me thinking that buyer was 'new to this' and wanted to give them a fair price??

did your buyer make a bank deposit/transfer for the item?
If they did, then the amount of overpayment becomes important.
What amount were you expecting and how much did you receive?
When I do bank deposit I usually round the amount up to the full dollar. I will add a few dollars if I got the item at a cheap price or if I think the item will cost more to post.

If it was a scheduled eBay managed payment it may have been for multiple items.

Maybe you should contact the buyer, just in case they made a mistake when they entered the amount if they paid by bank deposit.

Why do you think it's a scam buyer?
How much more than the sold price was deposited?
From the buyers perspective, bank deposit is actually the least safe method for them as they have no recourse if things go wrong.
Only thing I can think of is that the buyer would raise a complaint with their bank, but since you were expecting a deposit and they authorised the transfer from their side, I don't see how they could scam you.
What is their feedback left for others sellers like?
