Unable to edit listings - due to 'offer pending'

I have been trying to modify a couple of listings and it is coming up that it's not possible because there are offers pending on these offers.  However these listings aren't BIN and open for offers and as far as I see I haven't received any queries about them.  Is this just another glitch that seems to be going on with EBay at the present?

Presumably they are auctions, then.

Do they have bids on them? You can't edit listings with bids.

If an offer has been sent for that item it will show on the far left side of that listing -- REVIEW OFFERS

You cant change a listing if a offer is pending as the offer is for exactly the description and terms the offer was sent 

IE cant change the terms and then accept an offer

If no offer has been sent and it is not allowing you contact customer service is probably all you can do
