unable to visit www.ebay.com - 404 error. I can visit Ebay.com.au fine and even Ebay.de fine though

Is there some problem with people in australia trying to access just Ebay.com?  i can access ebay.com.au and ebay.de even but not ebay.com.

I just get a 404 screen error if i attempt to go to ebay.com.

I like to go to ebay.com because if there is something available that is not being shipped to australia, i can ask the selller and sometimes they will agree to send it to australia
