How is it some one can leave negative feedback yet you can't leave feed back about them because they did first this seems unfair

if the buyer didn't pay you should lodge an unpaid item dispute and if they still don't pay they receive a strike and can't leave feedback. You will also receive your FVF's back if they don't pay.

it has been many many years since Sellers were permitted to leave feedback for buyers.

if they didnt pay, you open a dispute / close it and then they cant leave you fback at all

if it was a different problem, then they have the right, as the buyer, to state how the transaction was for them.
