How to get rid of the annoying pop up message? :(

I feel so bombarded by different things that pop up everywhere ..

Please note this actually stops me from buying because i just get irritated and leave early....Is there a way to stop this? I really dont care how many people are watching an hour . Its like going shopping and having the salesperson stick their face in front of you everytime you pick up something to look at. Please do some reasearch before making changes like this to your site

Agree with is.  It's like a used car salesman saying I've got 20 people interested so you better buy now. While the idea is there, its just annoying and you have to click the pop up to see what you're viewing.

I agree, it is very annoying and I bet the person at eBay who thought it would be a great idea never actually spent time searching and looking at listings on eBay.

You can get rid of it if you use Firefox with AdBlock Plus.

To disable the popup using AdBlock Plus:

Click on your ABP icon and select Filter Preferences

Click on Ad Blocking Rules on the left and then Add Filter on the right hand side and copy the next line into the box

ebay.com.au##.vi-notify-container.vi-notify-shadow

Click Close

that is not working  i get that popup everytime i click on any item on ebay. i'm just about ready to close my account. it is so annoying. how do you really stop it?

A bit like people who pop up and 11 year old thread.

W H Y would you drag up a thread from 13 years ago to add absolutely nothing.  To me annoying would be looking for something that Old. 

Please check dates before digging up graves.

Maybe US Members like it but us Aussies are not so keen
