Maybe one day,eBay will do something to protect sellers too

As you say

Does this mean eBay will being doing away with the 'estimated delivery dates' which it knows jolly well are the stuff of fantasy?

I bet not

And when eBay says 'keep buyers happy'

What they really mean is

Even when the buyer is making a false claim etc etc etc, give them a refund because if you (the buyer) does'nt we (eBay) will

Always only ever about the buyer

How about being fair to BOTH buyers and sellers?

Did'nt think so
