can anyone tell me why all of a sudden pop ups are happening on ebay and how to get rid of them

It's not ebay but it sounds like you have an adware virus on your computer.

Clear cache n cookies and reboot your computer.

Then turn on the pop up blocker on your browser.

If you still have them, you need to restore the computer to an earlier point.

But you will lose any info or programs installed since.

Also, run a malware scanner like malwarebytes as well as your virus scanner.

thanks for your help, i found the problem it was an adware that came inbedded in a program i downloaded, deleted it andanyhting else for same date all good thanks again

Good to hear you got it sorted, but doing it that way, you may have missed some of the more well-hidden files. Suggest you download the free version of Malwarebytes and run it daily, as embedded adware & malware is surprisingly common these days.
