why does ebay not recognise my computerwhy do i need to verify my identity?

THis is really annoying me.  Suddenly I cannot list an item as Ebay believes i am using a different machine.  I am not.

The solution is to contact ebay "it will only take a few moments to verify your identity".

I tried chat three times and eventually was told i have to call.  THe waiting time is 2 hours.  Add this to the hours spent waiting for chat help only to be cut off or told the agant can't help and it seems it will take more than "a few moments" to achieve something that was not even a problem yesterday.  The only thing that had changed is the time of day. I'm at a loss to think of any reason why ebay might suddenly require my identity to be verified.  Any ideas?.  I'm currently on hold..........

Have had this problem several times . It's the browser your using . eBay has issues with IE . I think it's a conspiracy to get you over to google chrome that way google can link everthing together and take over your PC . Try clearing your cookies in the IE tool bar it worked me
