Are Aust Post men/women MIA?

Just wondering if you guys (especially from Victoria) still received parcels from Australia Post during the past month? I got 2 items from China where tracking status say they have
arrived at Destination Airport (or Australia, Arrived at Facility) since end of April, but now it's early June and I still haven't received the items. Are Australia Post women/men still working or they are missing in action due to lockdown? Thanks. Cheers.

'Arrived at Destination Airport/ Facility' usually means the airport in China, as far as I know.

No problems with AusPost here in Melbourne.  Letterbox deliveries are only every 2nd day.

If your parcel is not arriving, open a case for item not received as soon as it allows.

A Chinese seller may try stalling tactics.   Or ask you to close the case.

Don't fall for it.  Once closed you can't re-open it.

Don't close it until you have your refund or the item.

Don't let the case time-out.  You will lose.

Ask ebay to step in as soon as it allows.

Thanks for your reply.

The prob is I bought these items in mid April and their end of Estimated Delivery dates are in early Jul that means I can't open "item not received" cases until then and by that time I can no longer leave FB.

Bought mid April with delivery early July?

I wouldn't have bought.

My guess is the seller has horrible feedback, and you should have run a mile

Feedback will mean nothing to a high volume seller who has a lot of negs anyway

Most items from China seem to have a delivery frame of up to 2 1/2 months at the moment (if the seller uses economy). ๐Ÿ˜ž

Thanks.  I haven't bought since pre-Covid from China.

I mostly got delivery within 3 weeks from favourite sellers.

Yes, I remember the good old times when items from China arrived in 2-3 weeks!

Seller's FB is actually not bad (%98+)

I bought these items in mid April and Estimated delivery Thu, 13 May - Fri, 02 Jul...

Usually I received my item within 3-5 weeks but not this time with these - not sure if they have been lost or delayed by Covid.

If it's a high-volume seller then anything below 99.5% feedback would start to give me warning bells, especially if many of the negs are for non-delivery of items.

I think it is hit and miss these days.  I have had some things arrive from China in the usual three weeks, while for some other items I have been waiting months.
