I have had a number of unsatisfactory experiences dealing with sellers with regard to best offers recently and I want to be able to ensure that I don't have to encounter them again. Can inadequate sellers be blocked or put on a "black list" or something similar?
I created a watchlist titled "Black Listed Sellers" and picked an item from each seller and put it on the list with a note to self about why they fail. But this is a rather crude and clunky way to do this. Can inadequate sellers be blocked or put on a "black list" or something similar?

Sellers are welcome to handle best offers in anyway they like, that doesnt make them inadequate. I for one will more often than not ignore lowball offers, or buyers who are unreasonable.
And they go straight on my Blocked buyers list.

No doubt many sellers who would be 'targeted' already have done just that

On your search page, scroll down on the left-hand side until you see 'more filters'
Then click on Seller -
Enter sellers names with a comma between each.
Hit 'Apply' and you won't see those sellers in that search.
But if you do another search, you will have to do it all again.

I got confused - cause nowhere does it state ' inadequate ' .LOL

short answer: NO
but imastawka has given you advice on eliminating sellers per search; unfortunately you have to do it again & again....ad infinitum......**bleep**, I know

Thanks for your help. It's nice to know there are at least some people here with some human
decency.

Your watchlist is probably the best option.
But thank you for bringing this issue to the boards. I'm not the only member thankful for the heads up.

Nice to know I'm not alone with this problem. It seems Ebay favours sellers over buyers. I never would have believed for a minute that such an innocent question would be met with such hostility. 🙄

Buyers can block sellers, but sellers can't block buyers. What an outrage! That is an injustice that needs to be redressed.
