How do I send a message to someone, anyone at EBay????

How can I actually send a message regarding my account to anyone at EBay. Are there any real people there?

I can't find anywhere on their site to do that.

Thanks.

You cannot send a message to eBay staff

You can go to eBay help at the top of any page and type 'speak to an agent' in the chatbot

Or do you need to message a seller on eBay?

Or, without giving any personal information, you could ask other members here if you need help/advice with something

Unlike eBay staff who type from pre-written scripts and who have experience using the site, members here will provide factual information, based on eBay policy

Thanks for your reply.

I keep getting messages, supposedly from EBay, asking me to provide my bank account details & also my password, so that if I sell something they can pay the money into my account.

I'm not giving anyone the password to my bank account & I want to tell them this as I believe this is a scam.

I'm confused though, as when I log into my account it comes up with this same request in my actual account messages, so I'm thinking if that's the case, how can it be a scam?

Where you trying to list something for sale without having signed up to Managed Payments and verified to sell?

You can go to eBay help at the top of any page and type it speak to a supervisor in the chat bot

It is good you are checking, you would not believe how many people happily give out their details to blatantly obvious scammers, but in this case if it is in your account too, it is more than likely genuine and due to Managed Payments

Then again if you are not wanting to start selling again, there is no need to give that information

Please do check with eBay though, scams are getting more sneaky all the time, especially with AI, so anything is *possible*
