Hi There
Is there a way of reporting a seller. I suspect this seller is selling fraudulently. They have listed a jewellery item as solid sterling silver and I contacted them TWICE to ensure it is in fact SOLID sterling silver and not just plated.
The first time they answered they said it is sterling silver to which I replied, that wasn't the question I asked. I asked is it SOLID sterling silver and not just another metal PLATED with sterling silver. They replied again saying "I ALREADY TOLD YOU ALL ITEMS ARE STERLING SILVER WITH PURITY OF 850 TO 925 OF 1000" and AGAIN avoided confirming whether the item was indeed SOLID sterling silver or just plated. I asked them a third time for clarification but have not heard from them since.
I suspect they might list their item as solid when it is NOT actually solid so are fraudulently describing the item. They are refusing to let me know either way, it being a very simple "YES/NO" answer to confirm that it is SOLID sterling silver and the item is not just PLATED with sterling silver.
Please let me know if I can have this seller investigated at all.
thankyou

LOL - reporting a seller from whom you have never bought.
Ask a question - get an answer - not happy - don't purchase.
What's all the ' reporting ' rubbish.
Sheesh - no wonder there is a ' not invited to my party list '. lol

The OP has been asked twice now for the item number Dom, maybe there's something in the listing that would shoot down their whinge...........

Surely there is something in their feedback that gives you your answer.
Buyers would be complaining hard-core if it was just plated.
But report them for what, exactly, if you've never bought from them.
Each listing has a statement that says 'Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing'.
Takes ya chances....or move on.

If you are not happy with the answer, don't buy from them.
It's not a hard decision. Your wish to take remote revenge on what you consider a slur IS hard. In fact, on eBay it's impossible.
Give it a rest. You were asked several times for an item number so other members could judge the seller's probity. You chose not to do so.
