❝How to create a Sale Event + Markdown promotion
It's easy to put some or all of your items on sale. Here's how:
- Go to the Marketing tab
- in Seller Hub and select Promotions.
- Select Create a promotion and then Sale event + markdown.
- Choose your discount, e.g "Take 20% off each item" or "Take $10 off each item".
- Choose Select items to manually add items to your promotion, or Create rules to automatically select items based on category and price, with filters based on product identifiers.
- Give your offer a name, duration, description and an offer image.
- Select Launch.
When creating these promotions, bear in mind that listings must be listed at the 'old' price for a minimum of 10 days before being included in a sale event.
Items can be included in a sale for a maximum of 14 days, after which they need to be excluded again for at least 10 days before being re-added.❞
