purchased on ebay IP68watch 25/03/21, has stopped working when worn, will only work on charger. Warranty period is 6/12 months and have sent 2 requests for advice/action to seller and have not received reply or acknowledgement.
Any suggestions on how to obtain action.

Warranties are worth nothing on Ebay, unless the seller is an authorised distributor.
Many sellers put a "warranty" on their listing to entice buyers (especially Chinese sellers), but in reality, there's zero obligation.
Was the watch from a domestic or overseas seller? You can see where they are registered under their feedback section.

Yes, shows as based in Australia, The warranty is set out in the user manual which was part of the package purchased. Used PayPal for payment. Is there any way to lodge a complaint with Ebay?

As I say, the warranty is useless unless purchased by an authorised distributor.
In other words, if I buy something for myself and then decide not to open it or use it, I can put it up for sale, but even though it is an unused item, I cannot cover any warranty for the buyer.
The time to claim through Ebay has passed, but you might be able to open a Paypal claim since you're just within the 180 days that Paypal allows. See what options Paypal gives you when you locate the transaction in your Paypal history.
If you remember, did the item arrive in Chinese packaging, or with Australia Post packaging (sometimes sellers drop ship from China).
Otherwise, if you funded the purchase with a CC (via Paypal), then contact your provider.

Cant recall the packaging, Have actioned a claim thru Paypal so we will see if that produces any results.
Thanks for your help

If it's the seller you left FB for a watch, then you can't have checked their feedback before buying.
Negs and neutrals read like a Chinese seller to me.
Would have hit the back button myself.
Good luck with PP

If it is the seller you have indeed left feedback for for a watch, remember that you can leave a follow-up. Not really useful in practical terms, but still...
As for warranties, unfortunately other posters are right - not worth much if not purchased from an authorized reseller. I haven't even tried PP when something stopped working in the past and the warranty was only in the manual (in bad English and with no brand name). Strictly speaking, it is not in the description, so I don't know if PP can help. Let us know how it goes. Good luck!

I am amazed that people still buy from sellers with such bad feedback, then expect it to last more then a day

Success, PP have confirmed a complete refund should be coming thru.
