Why can’t I see find any of the recent discounts ...I put in the code and still not get discounts

I don’t see any items being discounted any more....is it something to do with my settings... or nothing I wanted to buy in the last 6 months has been discounted...I’m starting to see ebay plus as a rip off

I don't use ebay Plus but I still receive emails telling me of the wonderful deals and discounts.   Received one just yesterday.

I also am no longer receiving emails or other offering any discounts.
Only the endless emails trying to get me to sign up to Ebay Plus.
