HI everyone,
Just recently I have had a buyer contact me fairly regularly saying "i like your XXX can I buy it for $20? ( about $30 less than the auction start price)
This is despite all my listings saying I will not end auctions early etc etc
I've responded politely a couple of times explaining my policy and also explaining an auction start price is not the same as a BIN, the item may - and probably will - sell for much more.
She always replies "ok thanks:, but continues to ask.
She's either incredibly dim, or being deliberately provocative.
I know I could just ignore, but I'd like to block her - can just imagine she'd be trouble if she DID bid and buy
Does adding her to the block buyers list also prevent her asking questions? I can't find any info re this.
I did an experiment adding my son to my blocked buyer list and he was still able to ask questions.
Any other way around it?
Your help appreciated.
Many thanks

Yes, ticking the box blocks comms from everyone on the BBL.
Any member on the BBL can't bid or buy. (can take 24 hours to take effect)

It is my understanding that you can not block communications with a buyer if you are already in a transaction or have had recent contact.
If you have had recent communications you may find she can still annoy you.
I hope I am wrong....good luck.

Thats my understanding too lyndal. Plus there is a way around the communication block if buyers know where to look, so it doesnt always work.
