Hi I purchased a new microwave on Ebay in October 2022. It's now faulty. Not working flashing power. I contacted seller and they said send video of faulty item. I did that twice. Now no reply and my purchase doesn't come up in Purchase History only via original emails so I can't ask Ebay to step in. Can't find a general email for Ebay so I am lost. Do I just place a negative review to jolt the seller. Any tips. Thanks Greg
Very few items on Ebay have genuine warranty, no matter what the listing may say. If the purchase was from Manufacturer or Licensed Resller that is a different thing and may be covered. If from O/S definately not. You are well out of time for Ebay to help. If you paid through paypal, you may just get in as time limit there is 180 days.
To go to purchase history, change date on drop down menu to date required.
Emailing Ebay is totally useless by the way as it is purely a bot reply you will get.
It is in your purchase history, you need to change the time period in the drop down menu
BUT you are way way out of time to ask eBay to step in (and there is nothing to step in to, it worked for 5 months when you bought it, there is no warranty because it is not from an authorised seller, no matter what the ad 'said')
Leaving a neg review will do nothing, reviews are for products, not sellers so they are unlikely to care what you say about a microwave
The email for eBay is an automated bot service, so also useless
You need to buy this sort of thing from a proper online store (if you cannot get to a store in person)
Buying electrical items off random sellers on eBay is asking for trouble
It is a good idea, if it aint broke don't fix it, if you dont know how to use it dont touch it, referring to ebay that is!! Now, have you checked out the manufacturers site and or google for details of any possible warranty, most electrical appliances have a lot of factors that specifically exclude any warranty, damage due to power source issues(surges etc), non compatable power source, environmental issues (dust, moisture intrusions) vermin/insect intrusions etc etc etc etc. Have you googled your item model for any available trouble shooting info, in all likelyhood, the power symbol flashing is coded to indicate a specific fault.
