Fraudulent Sellers

I've just been ripped off for $155 on Ebay &  there is no way to contact any one to make sure the police are contacted to bring this jerk to justice.  The seller has just carried out a huge fraud, it's just not me ripped off.

Paypal notified me that they paid Ebay Commercial  & that means that is who should be refunding me, but, there is no way to contact anyone.

Caveat Emptor when dealing with Ebay as they are as contactable as the scammer.

The email I received from Ebay when I reported the fraud was a joke, it said they would close their account, etc, etc., but  no criminal charges?

What an upstanding entity to deal with!

This is the seller with 26 negs in the past month alone that they are a scammer

Why would you choose to buy from someone like that and think they would do the right thing by you?

Why, after buying from a scammer did you not open an item not as described dispute?

You do not need to 'contact eBay' to do that, they will not refund you if you do not open a dispute

eBay are not going to call the police about them

No, they will not take out criminal charges against the seller

Caveat Emptor is spot on

Their feedback is more than warning enough not to be another person buying from them

The seller is clearly not an authorised seller of anything.

The feedback you left just indicates that you’re angry, but it isn’t realistic in terms of what you expect as consequences for the seller.

The account had a neg before the previous month… and there were red flags.

You will need to follow through by opening a Not As Described claim (return/refund request), as long as the delivery date was less than a month ago.

The seller will be responsible for return postage cost.

You will receive full refund including the original postage.

Forget about police and ACCC… Just go with the eBay MBG process and you’ll be fully refunded.

If you aren’t able to open an MBG claim, come back here and ask, and we (by which I mean the various members posting here) will guide you through what you need to do.

Supposedly, they finished up on xmas day, with all 'items' sold....how did you pay?

All you have to do is use the tools that eBay provides under their MBG to get your money back (or if that fails, Paypal if you paid that way.

Out of interest, did you check their feedback before you bought from them ?
