GST Refunds

Ok so at the start of last month Ebay Australia started to charge GST on goods brought from overseas sellers. The other day I had a order that I purchased from overseas and paid GST arrive only to find that the seller had sent items I didn't order. I got a refund from the seller but the GST for the items I had purchased has not been credited back to my paypal account. I want to know how do I go about getting the GST collected by Ebay returned? Thank you in advance for any help in this matter.

 Did you ever receive your refund?

It is now January 2021 and I am currently trying to get a GST refund from eBay after receiving a refund from an overseas seller (item did not arrive)
You would think by now they have implemented an automatic refund process but instead they tried to convince me that the ATO needs to do the refunding and i need to contact them. Matter is now escalated after i mention the ACCC.
