Ok so at the start of last month Ebay Australia started to charge GST on goods brought from overseas sellers. The other day I had a order that I purchased from overseas and paid GST arrive only to find that the seller had sent items I didn't order. I got a refund from the seller but the GST for the items I had purchased has not been credited back to my paypal account. I want to know how do I go about getting the GST collected by Ebay returned? Thank you in advance for any help in this matter.

Did you open a formal dispute with ebay to get the refund?
If it was just the seller refunding your payment directly to you then ebay would not even know that the GST has to be refunded.
All I can suggest is to ring ebay and tell them what has happened.
