Hello I am needing to check please whether the process for automatic bidding simply requires you to put in a maximum amount and then does e bay engage incremental bidding. Or is there another process for automatic bidding. Thanks

You are correct. You bid the maximum you are prepared to pay for the item and the automatic bids up to your total for youif someone bids against you.
