I returned an item after the seller asked me to. The seller stated that they would accept a request for a refund. The item was returned and was delivered to the seller on 04/08/2021. The promised refund has not been given by the seller. eBay has sent me an email asking if I received the refund and if not to contact them so that they can step in and assist me. However there is no way to contact eBay. I followed the steps that they have given where they say press on the button and a prompt will come up saying ask eBay to step in, but no prompt like that comes it. It merely takes me to a page showing the 4 steps, the last step being refund issued which is not highlighted. I can't get any further and can't connect with eBay eventhough they are asking me to. Can anyone help?
The Contact Us link now has some extra rigmarole... The pop-up window on the right bottom of the screen has some prepared options designed to stop people from actually connecting with a Live Chat agent.
I don't quite know how I managed it, but I went through the options until I was finally able to request a phone call.
