I bought a automobile drive shaft with a 12 month 20k km warranty
This item failed at 300 km
I reported this to the seller but the seller will not reply
I cannot return the item as more than 60 days have passed
What can I do???
This Ebay 60 day limit effectively cancels any warranty
Very not good!!
For the warranty to be anything more than a word on the screen, the seller must be authorised to sell the brand/part
IF the seller was indeed an authorised seller/re-seller and they won't reply, contact the brand's website
You will not be eligible for eBay assistance due to the time involved, but you might be within Paypals 180 day cutoff.
.
To add to sandy's post the seller also has to be Australian business for warranties to be valid.
