I need to return an item I purchased but I haven't received the item yet?

I wanted to return an item I purchased.  They are refillable ink cartridge for my printer.   But my printer has died and I had to buy another one.  The cartridges will not fit my new printer & that is why I asked to return them.   The thing is, I havent received the refillable cartridges I purchased so I cant return them until I get them...Im suppose to return them by May 29, but I cant.   Now what?

Returning items is not an automatic right.

Ebay isn't selling anything, it is individual sellers who are and it is a bit like real shops, they all have their own policies. Some allow refunds for change of mind, some don't.

You opened your case too early as you can't return anything till you actually have it.

They may still arrive in time, so don't worry too much yet. And if they don't, at least now you know the procedure if there is a next time.
